Karan, the owner and founder of Passionate Sole Reflexology, has been a Certified Reflexologist since 2017 and a Licensed Massage Therapist since February 2022. She trained through Baltimore School of Reflexology from 2015 to 2017, and completed her Associates in Applied Sciences for Massage Therapy through Anne Arundel Community College in 2021. She also has a Master's Degree in Human Services Counseling with a major emphasis in Christian Life Coaching from Liberty University, a Bachelors Degree in Psychology, and an Associates in Allied Health. She currently works full-time as a paraprofessional in Special Education and practices reflexology and massage therapy on a part-time basis, with a strong desire to practice full-time in the future.
Karan provides her life story that moved her to begin a career in bodywork services. Karan states, "I began practicing reflexology because I experienced the benefits first-hand. As a reflexologist, I can confidently say you should experience a full-body response during and after a reflexology session. I know this because I was a client before I became a practitioner. I was plagued with debilitating sciatic pain that was not relieved by chiropractics or physical therapy. My friend who is a reflexologist asked me to come to her for a complimentary session. I did, and it was life-changing for me. After a few subsequent sessions, the sciatic pain was gone! From that point forward, I decided I wanted to be a reflexologist, and I began my training in 2015. While I do not diagnose or treat illness and my service is not a replacement for medical care, I do know the benefits of reflexology and massage therapy and am passionate about sharing this with others.”
